Some of the schools we're playing have some kids who have never played for the school before, but we've got kids who truly have never played football at any level. We've made a lot of progress, and are ahead of where I thought we'd be at this point in the season.

That's really important, if you have kids in different schools, going to different neighborhoods, and going to different after school activities. We believe safety is knowing who lives in your neighborhood, near your home, near your place of worship, near the school, day care centers.

When my sisters and I were kids going to DC public schools, school supplies were not the big deal they are today, ... Giving today's children the basic supplies they need is a good way to start them off thinking positively about doing well in school.

Schools will be busing kids in. We are holding it after school because we wanted to reach the parents.

It seems like once or twice a day, school kids are coming into our office bringing in checks. Schools have really come forward.

Sometimes you don't receive because you don't ask. Schools are competitive. They want numbers. They want the school full.
