I would rather have 1 amazing best friend than 100 decent regular friends. It's not about quantity, it's about quality.

I no longer have the energy for meaningless friendships, forced interactions or unnecessary conversations. If we don’t vibrate on the same frequency there’s just no reason for us to waste our time. I’d rather have no one and wait for substance than to not feel someone and fake the funk.

In contravention of my belief that any life ending in death is essentially pointless, I needed my friends to open up that plastic bag and take one last look at me. Someone had to remember me, if only for a few more minutes in the vast silent waiting room of time.

When you want to talk to your best friend and tell them the good things that are happening in your life... But then you remember that you two aren't friends anymore; just strangers. That moment hurts.
