Mayor Page indicated that he very much wanted to talk to him -- that a lot of untruths and misstatements have been made concerning some of the statements and he wanted to clarify that.

I think we're not going to know much about her, and she won't disclose much in her hearings, so once again we're going to have someone we don't know much about, and because of that, it will be easier for her to receive confirmation,

Most likely Congress will do little or nothing but talk a great deal and hold hearings,

I'll be surprised if we actually end up with hearings in two weeks. There's so little enthusiasm for this nominee anywhere, and it's hurting the president so much at this time when he's otherwise in trouble. I do think she'll withdraw.
