Sprint has been moving more into the wholesale side of the wireless market and the agreements mean at t the very least, more traffic will flow over its network.

There's an explosion of wireless services that are available and a screaming need for spectrum. This is going to be a big boost for the industry.

The entire wireless industry is very healthy, and growing very rapidly at this point.

This deal makes sense for Level 3. It helps Level 3 get further into the local competitive market as a competitive local exchange carrier. It is not the first and will not likely be the last deal Level 3 does.

Sprint PCS' wireless network is one of the last keys filling one of the last holes in MCI's network.
