Stephanie had a real solid game and carried us for a while. We did real well as a team in the first half, we just couldn't put another half together to go with it.

Our kids kept us in the ballgame and we probably could've been closer if we had made some easy baskets in close. I told the kids they played hard, they played their guts out, and took a good team and made them play hard.

Our two freshmen ran exceptionally well. Down the road, they could help us out on the varsity team.

She's a high-strung, high-intensity individual. She's an excellent student, too. She's intense, she's very competitive, and as hard-nosed as any kid out here. She bangs and bruises, will play hurt, and will give you everything she's got every minute she's there.

We had a lull there in the third quarter where they pushed it out but we came back and fought back and played pretty well the fourth quarter.

We went on a short run there and extended the lead and then just kind of took a deep breath. We have to come out and play hard every game, no matter who we're playing. Goreville played well and deserved to win the game.
