Students are getting concerned and they should be very concerned because we live in an area that is not very safe.

There has clearly been a campus police presence on Notre Dame Lane that wasn't there before. From my experience of living over here in McCauley, I can feel a difference because I'm looking for it, but I think other students need to be told of this.

I think one of the biggest problems is kids coming here from different suburbs from across the country with a false sense of security. This area is not like home, there is the potential for danger.

All of my qualified students are 100 percent employed. Not every student is qualified.

It's not an easy out for students.

Some years you get a group of students coming through and every parent wants to be involved, and it's wonderful. Every once in a while you'll get a year when no matter what you do you can't get anybody to run or you get a few but not enough to staff the community council.
