Students near the teacher can hear well. But those further away struggle because they receive that reduced signal.

Students just need to be reminded over and over and over and again that the college has a no tolerance policy with some things, such as alcohol, illegal visitation, drugs. The rules that the college has when there is absolutely no tolerance, they just need to be reminded that that policy is in place not only on campus but off campus as well.

They (the students) now have to deal with knowing where the camera angles are going to be on them and understanding that there isn't going to be as much applause and as much reaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to receive additional help in classes they struggle with. Students have been slow to take advantage of this valuable learning tool.

We joke around with our students that ballroom is the most inexpensive form of marriage counseling. We watch couples come in who didn't even know (they had a problem), and in two or three weeks you start to see the language change — playfulness comes back into it.

This really shows students career opportunities.
