Such an event would provide valuable experience and enable us to collect data that would help us do this on a larger scale, possibly next year. I would like to try and see if we can get it done this summer and then go for the bigger event next summer.

It's surprising how many things live in that body of water. You wish the highway wasn't there, but there's nothing you can do about that.

I think it's a great idea to at least start out with a smaller version locally, using the expertise from professors and scientists at local schools and environmental groups.

This summit is necessary to shape policy and help us. We need to know what you see and experience everyday in the community, in the schools and in your neighborhoods. This is a way to help us better coordinate city services.

It was a good experience. We learned a lot as a basketball team. It's definitely going to help us.

Just this experience of getting to this point for next year will help us. The more situations we're in, the less we'll panic. With youth you'll get that. As soon as our skills improve, I think our panic will improve and we have a whole year to work on that now.
