Suicide is not an answer, it's destruction.

Unless democracy is to commit suicide by consenting to its own destruction, it will have to find some formidable answer to those who come to it saying: "I demand from you in the name of your principles the rights which I shall deny to you later. . ."

She did not need to fold into herself and self-destruct. Those awful things are survivable, because we are as indestructible as we believe ourselves to be. When adults say, "Teenagers think the hate invincible," with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don't know how right they are. We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken.

The only answer I know to the question, "What to do?" is to follow the middle path. Sell fully valued shares, buy undervalued shares, and let our portfolios wax or wane with the irregular seasons of the market.
