Television in the last few years has been where all the great writers are going. TV now is what indie film used to be.

The last few years have been pretty hectic.

Personally, I don't think the film and television industries are run as well as they used to be. Oh sure, we've got great digital effects now but... where are the visionaries?

As a film director and as film actors, you get used to a certain rhythm that's slow. But with TV, it's hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry. It's a different pace.

There are so many stage actors on TV but you wouldn't know they were stage actors. And film and TV actors are going to the stage as well, so the crossover is great now.

It used to be you did TV or you did film. Now it's like a media blitz.
