Terrible things happened in Rwanda. The U.N. stepped in to try to bring some justice to the people who caused the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of people.

Ann knows the power of PowerPoint. She's seen it used in her court. She thought it would be a great idea for the prosecutors both at The Hague and in Rwanda to know how to integrate this technology into their trial presentations and also into their appellate presentations.

The trick is to learn how to do it artfully, and persuasively.

It's great to see the wheels of justice seem to be catching up with them.

In general, the programming series was created to address social justice topics. We wanted to bring issues into light that Marquette students may encounter in the world, so they can help change the world.
