The puck went in, and the referee admitted that he had blown the whistle before the puck went in and apologized. It was a really tough break. It would have been great to have the tie at that point, and take our chances in overtime.

Milwaukee is the team we would probably play in the playoffs, so we wanted to send a message that it will be a challenge to play against us. We came back to tie the game twice, which showed a lot of character for a young team.

I also did not put as much pressure on myself as I had before. I just tried to keep it simple. It definitely felt good. I had a big grin on my face when I skated to the bench, and so did the guys.

We got the effort we wanted tonight.
