That was the best I have ever seen [Lowry] throw -- that one pitch is getting better, and that is bad news for everybody.

In Montreal, we let the young guys pitch,

He can really pitch. He has worked hard and is a very smart guy. I [have] got to say that today he is right there striking out people, stopping rallies, fielding his position, getting base hits and challenging hitters.

I have to say I haven't seen very many guys like that. At 20, that delivery, that breaking ball, that power and that changeup, you have to go back to the days of Tom Seaver.

His hand-eye coordination, I have not seen anybody but Ted Williams that was like that.

That last pitch was as gutsy as I've ever seen anybody throw. That was a 3-2, bases-loaded slider. If I was a hitter, I'm certainly not looking for that pitch.
