That was the night I met Eric. We've pretty much become best friends since then.

I thought we had some good shots and some pretty good ball movement last night, [but] we didn't knock down a couple of make-able shots that we needed [in order] to keep the game close.

Denial is a more commercial-type sound, more mainstream rock. Turnbull AC's is more alternative, singer-songwriter pointed. A little more roots rock. But there's definitely a hint of mainstream in our sound.

I'm pleased that Jeremy from the Sundresses has encouraged us, 'cause I'm a fan of that band.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.

That was a pretty good offensive game for us. Defensively, we were asleep most of the night. It seems like anytime we come into this type of game, we play down to the competition.
