That will be something we will do a lot of is listening to students.

Our goal is that all of our students will complete an internship. We know and understand that it may not happen fully in the first year, but our goal is that within a period of one to five years, all students will be involved in an internship.

I encourage students to really research each of the schools. The bottom line is that they really need to research and look at the entire package. There might be some surprises, and some strategies they will like. In this case, the student is the consumer. The ball is in their court.

Our overall theme is to really support individuals, and I'm not just talking about students. Educators in the school also need to take some risks, commit to life-long learning and develop the skills in being critical thinkers.

In our school, every single student will receive all the credits necessary to meet diploma requirements, but we hope to integrate the curriculum in such a way that a student's learning becomes more relevant.

I have to keep reminding my students, asking them, "What is your experience of listening to this? Don't tell me about the notes you see on the page, tell me about what you hear.
