That's a tough one to lose. The kids played hard and had a chance to win it, we just couldn't close it out.

I think our kids are very aware of the situation. We realize how blessed we are to still be together and practicing. In the blink of an eye, kids have had seasons cut short or eliminated. We're practicing with a sense of thankfulness.

We didn't make routine plays early that could have gotten us out of some innings. But you can't take anything away from Auburn - they made plays they needed and got it done.

They'll definitely get up for that game. We sometimes tend to look at the immediate instead of what it took to get to this point - but they've earned the right to be here.

We've got three region losses by five runs. We needed that one.

We played well as a team. We executed our sacrifices, got two-out hits. That's what its all about - putting all phases of the game together.
