That's been the one thing we're really missing. We'll play great defense but we don't score a lot. We don't have anybody that's averaging in double figures, nobody that's our go-to person to lead us to victory.

They do such a great job of containing on defense. They don't try to get steals with their hands. They just stay in front of you.

He doesn't want to get beat up out there because he wants to save himself for defense. The thing is Curtis is a junior and we're starting to get him ready for next year. He does a good job, but he doesn't have the experience Jeff has. Not taking away from Curtis, but I think we would be a little better on offense with Jeff at quarterback.

That's good to hear, ... I want to focus on my defense. Getting hits, I'm not worried about it. If they come, they come.

If he responds, great. If he doesn't, those minutes are going to be hard to get. We can't play defense without urgency and tough-mindedness.

I don't think there's anybody not wanting to [play defense], but maybe, subconsciously , we haven't been completely focused. Tonight we kind of got caught up with the officials a little bit; we weren't completely focused in the second half.
