That's the inspiration for this program, to see that it can make a difference.

For many of these veterans, the trip to Vail is their first adventure outside of the hospital. This program is all about providing an inspirational experience that focuses on abilities versus disabilities.

Vail Valley Medical Center was one of the first big donors. We had to have a spot adjacent to the cancer center and they donated the land.

We thought we'd buy a condo. Then we realized we really needed a house.

We thought we might buy some equipment or furniture. But we did this.

Our community wanted to figure out a way to give back to you and your families and your friends.
