If you look at almost any prominent political thinking intellectual these days, they have all moved through at least three positions in the last three years. Everything is in transition since the end of what some people call the short 20th century.

It's a different attitude. Everybody's relaxed. Everybody's focused. No one is thinking about going home.

A new way of thinking has become the necessary condition for responsible living and acting. If we maintain obsolete values and beliefs, a fragmented consciousness and self-centered spirit, we will continue to hold onto outdated goals and behaviors. S
