That's what makes Darlington different from everywhere else. You're not just driving against other drivers; you're racing the track just as much as anybody else. Put those elements together, and that's what's challenging. You have to relish the challenge.

It's all about racing on the track.

The era of gentleman racing drivers is ended.

It wasn't for team-wise, but individual-wise going into the district tournament it was big. Because Curtis and James will probably be fighting for the district championship, so it was a big match in that sense.

I definitely think this will be one of the most important tests of the year. Daytona was important but we only run a couple of those tracks. A large percentage of the tracks we run this year will be 1.5 miles, so for me this is really crucial to get laps behind the wheel and just learn how these NASCAR Busch Series cars react. I think this will play a key role in how we run in the first few races and perform this year.

Steve and I are good teammates because we communicate well with each other. Our driving style is very similar and our lap times tend to be alike. We recognize this is a 24-hour race, not a 24-minute race, and it's important to make sure you're around at the finish.
