That's winning ugly and just staying alive out there. Sometimes I wonder what I win with. Sometimes it's just pure determination.

We've been winning ugly. We're fortunate to be 2-0. A bad break here or there and we could easily be 0-2. That's why we're not getting too excited about our record or the ranking. We just need to get better or we won't be talking about where we're at in the rankings for very long.

That's one of the things you wonder about, when you're winning like that. You never see how your team's going to respond if you're put in that situation.

I was the third assistant on the shoot. We built the set and everything.

I didn't want to stir anything up. When we went in, we went in. I was just more aware what we were doing. Once I went through the lineup, hopefully they knew I wasn't going inside and trying to hit anybody. Hopefully it would cool off.

I knew my role was to come in here and to lay low, to just eat up innings, to pitch any game they needed me to pitch and to just give this team a chance to win every time. It wasn't to come in here and take over the show.
