The 18 girls making the trip have worked very hard to fund-raise for the trip. They are all very excited.

Those 18 girls, the experience they had together and just getting to know each other so well and literally living with each other for seven days, it has to help. They almost came together like a college team.

It was great. The weather was beautiful. We were on just beautiful, well-manicured diamonds every day. We played and practiced right where the Atlanta Braves had their spring training. It was quite an experience for everybody.

It is very important to get young girls involved, to get to see sports, to have the opportunity to participate in things like this.

IT helps to think of the whole development thing as a process; you go in looking like a girl, and you'll come out at the other end looking like a woman. The stuff in the middle is just what everyone goes through, it;s almost never much fun.

Kissing power is stronger than will power: Girls need to "prove their love" like a moose needs a hat rack.
