The 1st period is won by the best technician. The 2nd period is won by the kid in the best shape. The 3rd period is won by the kid with the biggest heart.

I never won anything by myself. I was always strong because of help that gave me extra strength to win.

The best way to sum it up is that our biggest kid is as big as their smallest kid. We knew they were going to come out and try to take away Erika, our kid that's been doing tremendous stuff all year for us. With her being 5-foot tall and the height they have, we knew it was coming.

I grew up in the '80s. I was a kid, but all my favorite movies came out of that period.

Josh won that match with heart. He's worked so hard for us for four years, and just had some bad luck and bad brackets the last two years.
