The absence of war is not peace.

It is understanding that gives us an ability to have peace. When we understand the other fellow's viewpoint, and he understands ours, then we can sit down and work our differences.

Peace must be more than the absence of war,

But we are only termites on a planet and maybe when we bore too deeply into the planet there'll be a reckoning. Who knows?
