The American Red Cross is aggressively investigating allegations brought to us by concerned volunteers.

The Red Cross is made up of volunteers. We have a meager staff, but the volunteers who pitch in whenever and wherever they're needed who make up the Red Cross.

Along with volunteers comes misuse of funds, not having proper knowledge of policies and procedures and codes of conduct.

The underlying allegations are really just the same, but relabeled. The government has been investigating my client since 2002. You would think that by this time they would be able to prove that he actually attended a terrorist camp. They haven't.

Hurricane Katrina brought the need for preparedness to the foreground in 2005. The Red Cross recognizes the need to take that to the next step, which is teaching people to care for themselves and others in a disaster.

If I could say one good thing about Katrina, it brought in a lot of volunteers.
