The art of being happy lies in the power of extracting happiness from common things.

To do common things perfectly is far better worth our endeavor than to do uncommon things respectably.

What's fulfilling is being happy and being able to help other people. The simple things.

Modern theory is about objects lower than man; even stars, being common things, are lower than man.
