The ballot this year is highly complex. We are trying to make sure that people understand the ballot. For the first time this year, it is electronically readable.

People are trying to get on top of the epoxy program.

People are trying to preserve what already exists. I would like to see people discuss how they can make Douglass better and continue attracting women to the school. Universities are constantly evolving, and we can lose sight of that if we're too loud. Will saving the college as it is actually enrich it?

In life it wasn't what you know, but who you know. I had people who were trying to buy teams and had they bought the teams, I would have gotten to coach because they wanted me to coach. But the people who have the teams hire their friends.

We're trying to make the ship come alive for people, particularly children who come out. Many, many times when people come out to the battleship they see an inert object. When in reality this was a thriving community in and of itself.

We're trying to expand our audiences and have as many people as possible exposed to the orchestra. It's a whole marketing strategy that we hope will better picture us as a 25-year-old organization with a vision for the future.
