The big difference between this year and last year is we know we can come back and win games. Last year it was like 'Oh no, we're behind.' We know we have the ability to come from behind now. We can come through in clutch situations.

I won't miss any games. I could feel it, but it's just one of those things where you can't really think about it, you've just got to keep going. I was fine. I just focused on the game.

We couldn't open with a harder game. I think you can count on one hand the number of games that St. John's will have lost in the Big East in Queens in New York in the last 10 years.

I don't think getting up for games is a problem. We have a lot of young guys, everybody's looking for spots here or somewhere next season. There's too much to lose for anybody to be packing it in.

After the last few games, I felt like I should go to all of the defensive players and apologize personally because the offense hasn't produced. That's just me personally. Once the offense picks it up and scores some points, we'll be fine. When and where that's going to happen, (I) can't tell you.

It's tough to win four games in the other team's building. Hat's off to them, they're a very classy team. They played very well.
