The biographical novel sets out to document this truth, for character is plot, character development is action, and character fulfillment is resolution.

What was unique to me was the way (the script) balanced the character development along with plot and action. A lot of times, films lean on only one of those crutches. Greg did an awesome job on the screenplay and we were able to pull off more than the average independent filmmaker.

The action genre is not always the most synonymous with character development.

Character development is conflict.

To compose our character is our duty, not to compose books, and to win, not battles and provinces, but order and tranquility in our conduct. Our great and glorious masterpiece is to live appropriately. All other things, ruling, hoarding, building, are only little appendages and props, at most.

Never blame your shortcomings on your personality. You're not built that way; you are responsible of constantly rebuilding yourself and seeking perfection by finding your faults and overcoming them.
