The Boys of Summer,

It's great. We're catching up to the boys as far as being one of the better leagues in the state. It's made us better, it's made everyone better.

My boys hung in there, persevered and did good things.

The boys are fired up to hit somebody not from Cabrillo,

Girls weren't supposed to be better than boys and have muscles, ... So I downplayed my accomplishments.

We needed to play an 'A' game and not a 'B' game. But the boys responded well. They played hard, put West under pressure - West is good, physical, (with) good team speed - and we just needed to close some of those chances down and get forward ourselves.
