(The boys) were really flaky. We had some boys who performed worse than they have all year long. This is a home meet, and you're supposed to have some sort of pride at a home meet. You are supposed to stand tall, and we were not standing tall today.

The worst thing right now is the weather. Every time we try to have something, there is a storm. How can you go to Phoenix and have a storm? Usually, you have to take tents to try and keep from burning up.

I don't know how many people we're going to have participating, but if those people don't give 100 percent on Friday, we will get embarrassed at home. If we don't come and run well, we'll be in a lot of trouble because there is a lot of talent coming.

They had one of their low performances. We really took a few steps backward - steps we couldn't afford to take.

There weren't any great performances, but we won it.

We worked hard all year and tried to set an example for our people back home. Just because we are a small school, we don't have to follow the mold of other schools.
