The burden is on the ESDC to show that they will bring in the whole community. This is a state project where they are taking away the city's right to review it under the city's zoning laws. It's an enormous undertaking, and they'd better be careful how they do it.

We know that many organizations in our community will continue to have benefits to raise funds for the relief effort in upcoming weeks. The Chamber will serve as a clearing house for that information, and we will publish a regular calendar in The Messenger detailing the upcoming events and services or programs available to evacuees.

We are encouraged that the legal system is working to protect the community.

This puts the Jewish community on the map as it relates to a very large and spread-out city, ... There have been programs spread around the city, but there has been no central address until now.

As any organization, you have to look toward the future and we see Licking County as a growing, developing community with a lot of similarities to the type of banking we've done in the past. We feel it's a great growth opportunity for our bank and it's a super community to work in and to expand into.
