The bus driver was shaken up but not injured. The remaining students were taken on to school and all parents were notified.

By mid-afternoon, all but one of the students had been sent home from the hospital. One student is being kept for observation, just as a precaution.

We are living in a post-Columbine era. All of our campuses were not fenced in until Columbine happened. So it's for safety ---- safety is the No. 1 concern we have for the children.

All things become new again. It's the wave of the future for our district ---- at least for our next two schools.

It would make absolutely no sense to change courses in the middle of the stream.

You can't change things overnight. It takes everyone working together - parents, board and students - to have a good school, ... Everything is going really well so far, and everyone seems to have a very positive attitude. If we can keep that, we'll see the school grow as a whole.
