The California Solar Initiative is the largest solar program in the country, and I hope it will be a model for other states.

The complaints from wireless customers are as strong as ever. Yet they feel they've got the political strength to fight any regulation, anywhere it pops up.

That tells me we need enforceable rules to protect consumers.

We'll still need some new power plants, but this is a giant step forward.

I hope President Bush will spare the country the divisiveness of a controversial nomination for such an important office. But if that's the route he chooses, pro-choice Americans are ready for the fight.
