The Caucasian Chalk Circle

I hesitate to say because it sounds silly, but the first play I did was 'The Caucasian Chalk Circle' by Brecht.

You could see where he walked in a circle, over and over. He did that till the cold overtook him.

They were going to have to put a chalk outline on the wall because that was the last place he was seen. He kept us in the game.

A prettiness mummified by years of chalk dust.
