The Christmas sales exceeded our forecast. We have raised our forecast for a second time.

At the same time, we saw solid sales increases in the front-end of the store, especially during the Christmas and Valentine's Day seasons.

The season's busiest days occurred on Dec. 12 and 13, but we've seen continued sales momentum as Christmas neared.

It's going to come down to how sales are pre-Christmas, what we hear from the retail sector, ... I would expect next week, while remaining positive, to have not as robust a move as we saw this week.

People are still concerned with Christmas sales. We get mixed reports. We're not going to have all the final data on retail sales, but we'll have an indication of who did well.

The upside in the semiconductors didn't happen. Some people were expecting it given the strong handset sales in the Christmas season.
