The company sends a trained and screened caregiver to your home or to the home of the person who needs help when you request it.

Many programs were quite expensive, but this is a wonderful program and a wonderful company. It provides care at a reasonable cost to the employee and graduate student. We were delighted to find it and delighted to recommend it to the University and then have them approve it.

The faculty member who may have had to cancel class [before] will actually be there to teach it now.

As far as we know, there is no other university that is providing as extensive a backup program as this one is.

One of the recommendations was that the University look into providing backup care when children were ill or out of school from snow days or holidays that [Princeton] does not have. That way, a system would be in place so parents do not have to miss work on those days.

It's so commonplace. Every company with huge data processing needs is going to look at this.
