The competition was perfect for us. The weather was a mixed bag of rain, wind, sometimes warm, sometimes cool - kind of like Rochester!

I thought it was overall good competition, but the cool weather and the wind did not cooperate with us. It's been so hot lately and then, bam, we get this cold spell.

[Clay handled the weather — chilly in the 50s, windy and rainy — as well as the competition.] This was a very, very hard meet, ... Mentally, it was very hard to stay in it and concentrate, block the winds, know that it's rainy and cold yet you have to go out and run a personal best.

Stacy Allen ran a very nice steeple race. She was a little rough on her first lap or two and then settled down and looked great. Her technique on the water barrier really made the difference in the race - and we haven't had a chance to work with our water barrier yet.

I think we jelled as a team. This camp has been huge for us. We've had nearly 40 practices now, and we've spent a lot of time together, and I think our team is really starting to come together,

In our view, Pfizer is in fact defensive and has demonstrated that it can weather the blows in a measured fashion due to its dramatic scale advantage and strong balance sheet.
