(The Cougars) shot the ball very well and we didn't. They got us in foul trouble early. When Marcus (Washington) got his third foul in the first half that might have intimidated us a little bit on defense.

My sophomores played really well tonight. They stepped it up and played very, very well. Of course, Marcus Washington did some wonderful things for us.

This is a step in the right direction because a number of us have been urging Washington for years to distribute funds on a risk and threat basis, and not on a pork barrel basis. At the same time, I'm always concerned when Washington wants us to create new bureaucracies to cope with the paperwork.

We had trouble starting and finishing in that quarter.

We pounded an odd-shaped zone and neutralized some of their big players. But then we got in foul trouble and we started to make poor decisions.

He was never in any trouble here. He was a good teammate, a fit-in kind of player. I have complete faith in the American justice system. Whatever the truth is, it will be found out.
