The council is working with the folks in Manatee County to come to a just conclusion to the problems we have there with Red Dog.

This is very tragic. This puts the game of basketball in perspective. Everyone wants to know about how this affects the game but there is a person who lost his life. The bus driver's life is impacted in a tragic way. We're just here playing a basketball game.

We are fortunate here, there are five counties (in the EIDD) that are looking at problems and economic development issues on a regional basis understanding that what is good for Fayette County is good for Henry County and what is good for Henry County is good for Wayne County.
