The Cubs, the last couple of times I've pitched against them, have taken a good approach on me and gotten the better of me. I don't know if it's just them now or what.

Dave pitched great. I was able to hold them down and we scored some runs and made some plays, so it worked out.

When he got in a couple of jams, he made some pitches when he had to. But he pitched, and that's what we've been talking about. It's something that he's learned, to not overthrow, and now he's just pitching.

Besides being emotional, he's just that good where as an opposing player competing, you want to step up your game. And to add on the rivalry and all the other things that are involved, it becomes almost too intense.

He's pitched so good lately and he hasn't had much to show for it.
