The defender cleared it out and my eyes just lit up when I saw it falling down [at my feet].

The defender thought the goalie was going to get it, and it caused him to hesitate a bit. And I was able to get behind him and get one in the back of the net.

Another thing I recall was falling in love with Shirley Temple when I was nine or ten.

When I saw him in Florida, all I really knew was he had good feet. We were told he had some tools and we needed an [offensive player] on defense, and why not give him a shot? But, see, a guy like that has to be given a chance over a period of time. A player like that can't show what he can do in one game.

He cleared 11-feet-6 last season, so it was good to see him start the season off indoors with such a great height. I am very happy for him.

You have to set the tone early. We're just going to play hard.
