The feeling is that this resolution is anti-student. However, it's not. In fact, it is pro-education.

(Unofficial St. Patrick's Day) gives a black eye to the University. It seriously undermines the integrity of this University. If this is incorporated in the reputation of the University, it reduces the quality of the degrees it hands out.

There's some sort of resolution now.

We are looking for some kind of resolution. Hopefully, we can get with the City Council members and work something out. We never wanted to block this project. We'd still like to see it happen. We would like to be a part of the new development. That's all we ever wanted.

Yesterday, everybody smoked his last cigar, took his last drink and swore his last oath. Today, we are a pious and exemplary community. Thirty days from now, we shall have cast our reformation to the winds and gone to cutting our ancient shortcomings considerably shorter than ever.
