The first stage of ignorance is illusion, due to lack of exposure to reality.
The second stage of ignorance is delusion, or the refusal to acknowledge reality.
The third stage of ignorance is the rejection of altruism.

Most people like mirrors; what they do not like, is people, who are mirrors.

It takes discipline to turn illusion into reality.

The illusion is reality. The only contradiction is the observer.

Social conditioning, accompanied by moral and mental constraints, now serve to render the mediocre mind nearly incapable of unbiased assessment.

Today. the celebration is for the "victorious", not the meritorious. The depiction to the youth, is that one can be victorious without merit, and that merit is less notable than victory. The result, is the masses are selectively and passively affirming that winning trumps hard work, that theft trumps the pride of ownership, and that personal success trumps collective progress.
