The four days to practice out here helped out, and the course is going to be play to our advantage because there are no trees. So it's going to get pretty windy, and that's all we play back in Kansas.

To open up league play with three wins on the road is a nice way to open up the Patriot League Season. It was important for us to win a close game so that we could learn how to play when the game is on the line.

We haven't been able to put a full team on the floor in practice in two weeks. Maybe we play better when we're sick.

They (Maryville High School) have playing and practice venues all across the city. For example, baseball will play at Maryville College soccer at John Sevier School, so we're really just all over. It becomes a real logistical nightmare for one person.

They are not going to make any big mistakes giving up a big play, so what we had to do was be disciplined enough to play that way Sometimes that gets tough to do, but that's what we've got to be disciplined enough to do to compete and beat a team like that.

You can try to simulate game-like conditions in practice, but it's just not the same until you play with someone else.
