The four-wheelers should come up with 45 signatures and put it on the ballot,

On the outer fringe of the parish are the four-wheelers-those who come only by pram for their christening, taxi for their wedding and hearse for their funeral.

That would leave 23 signatures for it to qualify. The count of total signatures was off by four from what was turned in. And we want to look at the rest (of the disqualified signatures) to see if something was missed. It's so close we could ask for a recount, too.

I feel it ought to be on the ballot whether you are for it or against it.

My count suggests it would go to a second ballot.

Of the 3,500 signatures we gave to them, most of them are in his district. If he was really for his people he would've said 'no' instead of abstaining.
