The frustrating part is that we are losing these games -- I don't necessarily think these teams are winning them. We're just shooting ourselves in the foot, over and over. These are tough times and I know we're going to turn it around, but it's hard right now.

Losing, it doesn't happen here. It's not accepted. That's just the way it is. Winning is the standard that's been set by the past teams, and each new team wants to live up to those standards. So expectations here are as high as ever. Every time we take the field, we expect to win.

This tournament gave us the opportunity to improve our blocking and passing games, areas that often determine winning and losing in the Mid-American Conference.

When you're winning, you don't have to make excuses, or when you're losing, you shouldn't come up with any, either. As far as I'm concerned, we just got outrun today.

Winning may not be everything, but losing has little to recommend it.
