The girls are playing well, the defense is there and the pitching is there. The defense made the plays that needed to be made.

The key was defense. It was a good team effort.

D-R plays good defense, and we can't afford to take anything for granted. We have to show up for every game and (tonight) is no exception. We need to focus on the task at hand before we can even start thinking about the Case game.

It's one of those games you fear having after coming off a couple good ones. We did not take advantage of their errors. They did everything they had to do to shut us down.

I thought in the first game the kids did a good job of hanging in there. Megan Braun really hung in there and pitched well.
