The girls came out and played like a team. We hustled more than we have all season. Our serving and serve receive were awesome. The girls really communicated well.

We had an awesome team win tonight. It's so nice to see the girls play a clean game of volleyball. Our serving was awesome with a team total of 16 aces.

I want these girls to take away (from the conference) that they can be anything. They can do anything. I want them to consider all of their options and have them recognize the reality that they will be in the paid work force. . . . If family is a major priority, I want them to know what they need to do to be prepared for whatever happens.

(Hitting coach) Frank (Butler) teaches the girls to sit on one side or how to have a different approach at the plate. The girls know what they are looking for when they step up to the plate.

I'm so scared girls look at my breast implants and think, 'To get boys, you need big boobs.' I tell them, 'Don't get it done. Those fears go away. You develop other insecurities, but breasts aren't one of them.' I want to get them half-size.

I thought we played an outstanding game. I was very proud of the girls.
