The girls did real well. It was a good team effort, much better than at North Harrison.

We thought this was an excellent way to come together as a county to show our support for those who suffered. As an educator, one of the first things I thought of was all those kids who aren't going to be able to go back to school because of the destruction.

I feel grateful, to be honest with you. Thank God for the effort out there, on both sides of the ball. ... Thank God the replay official saw it as we did in our locker room and changed that call. Things like that go your way throughout a ballgame sometimes, and we've been pretty fortunate this year at the end of games to make plays to win games.

What a toughie. It was a hard-fought battle. I was very pleased with my girls' overall effort and intensity. We didn't quite have enough to pull it out but it was a game we can build on for the future.

I am proud of the effort the girls showed in the second half. We couldn't get that break we needed to come back. During the first half, it was hard to complain about it.
